Our ProductWe use a Dam full of water as our battery. We install enough Solar Panels to · Fill the dam with water during daytime. · Deliver solar Power to the grid. We install Hydro Turbines · To deliver power at night Typical Operation: We can deliver 85% of the available Solar Power kWh to the Grid. The customer decides when we deliver the Power · According to local Power Curve · For Mining; 100% from 05:00 to 21:30 · Industrial company; 100% from 07:00 until 18:00, 10% at night The amount of kWh will be the same, the MW will vary.
The amount of kWh / month will depend on available Solar power at Your location. The Powerplants deliver stable Power, no need for spinning reserve. We can operate on Grid or standalone. We do not use water ! · We borrow the water during daytime · We return the water at night Locations We may build our Power plants · By the coast, using salt water · On Islands using Salt water · Along rivers · Beside Lakes · Beside hydro Power plant Dams · Beside Reservoirs What do we need ? · To build a Dam 100m or more above the water source. · To build a small Pump and Turbine house by the water source. · A Pipe from the Dam to the Pump and Turbine House · A Solar Plant. We may put 40-50% of the solar panels floating on the dam.
Special cases Elevation below 100m between dam and Pump and Turbine house It is possible, but the volume needed in the dam increases. At 50 m the dam must hold 2 times the amount of water, to produce the same amount of Power as a dam at 100m Example: · 50 m x 50 m 5 m deep, · Elevation 20 m · 100 kW Solar Panels May produce 425 kWh per day. Estimate based on 5 hours of solar Power.
Beside Rivers which only have water during rainy season Here we will build an additional dam beside the river. We will fill this dam during the rainy season. During normal operation we pump water from the lower dam to the upper dam and return it at night. We only need to replenish water-loss from the river, due to evaporation.
